Is there is difference between choosing a male or female massage therapist?
There is no difference. If you would like to specify on a specific treatment, please inform us because each therapists specializes in various treatments. Please do inform us if you have a preference or no preference. Your comfort is important to us.

Should I bring a bathing suit for hydrotherapy treatments?
For our male clientele we recommend bringing swim trunks or Speedos for your hydrotherapy treatments. We provide disposable undergarments for our female clientele.

Does the Salon provide any amenities or should I bring my own items?
Forever Young provides our clients with robes, sandals, towels, as well as lockers to place their personal belongings.

What types of skin care lines does Forever Young carry?
We carry Dermalogica.

What types of wax does Forever Young use?
We use four different types of wax for our clients:
Azulene Wax – derived from the chamomile plant, this blue wax helps sooth & calm sensitive skin.
Resin Wax – derives from trees and is good for thin hair & non-sensitive type skin.
Cream Wax – is also known as strip wax that is used for sensitive skin types with coarse hair.
Hard/Cold Wax – is used for Brazilian waxes and sensitive areas on the face & underarms.

Is it ok for anyone underage to receive treatments?
Forever Young will cater to clients as young as 16 years old with a signed consent from their guardian. Their guardian must also be present at the spa during time of their service.

Should I tell my therapists if I’m using any prescription medicine?
Yes. Absolutely. This information is very important to all treatments at Forever Young. It will be held in the strictest of confidence. Please inform your therapist of any and all medications that you are currently taking prior to treatment.

I have never received a massage, which one should I get?
It is usually best to reserve the Swedish massage. It is your basic massage that improves muscle tone, circulation and joint flexibility.

Is it ok to put make-up on after my facial?
It is fine to apply make-up after a facial. However, we suggest to any client, to have their products looked at by their therapist for ingredients that are know to clog the skins pores. A treatment foundation that contains sunscreen and vitamins is also suggested. Dermalogica's Treatment Foundation is this type and is available at Forever Young.
